Farm and Home fnstitutes, general agriculture meetings, and workof specialists in horticulture; poultry production: dairying; rodent control; ses of live stock, hog, sheep and beef cattle production: crops: soils,are fostered by the department of the farmers institute and extension schools. As a result of the farm bureau organization, Kansas farmers are activelybehind the programs of the Extension Division and the Agricultural , for the first time in history, as advisors and co-operators in an organizedway. are assisting the institution in promoting agricultural education in thestate.
