The Willatt family, 1899: "Grandma", her daughter Alice, and Alice's children, Maud, Edith and Norris; "Grandma" was born Bessie Cable in the 1830s. She married one Alfred Lambert, and they had an only daughter, Alice. Alice was born in 1859, and married Norris Willatt in 1878. Here she is on the left with her mother Bessie on the right and her three children, Edith (born 1879), Maud and Norris. Alice died at the age of just 41, a year after this photograph was made.
