The pole bolt hole is|i in. in diameter and the two carriage bolt holes are■fy in. in diameter. As in the case of the crossarm bolt, the hole for thepole bolt for either type of brace is bored from the faceor arm side of the pole to the back, but the bolt itselfis driven from back to face, with a round washer un-der the head. To insure proper line-up in assembling,the braces are first bolted to the arm; the latter is next.
