Frank Kendall, Department of Defense undersecretary for acquisition, technology and logistics, toured the Army Prepositioned Stocks in Kuwait (APS-5) managed by the 401st Army Field Support Brigade, 1st Theater Sustainment Command, at Camp Arifjan, Kuwait, Oct. 15, 2016. The undersecretary spoke with Maj. Gen. Paul C. Hurley Jr., commander of the 1st TSC, and Col. Aaron Stanek, commander of the 401st AFSB, about readiness and the ability to rapidly deploy to support the Army Central mission in the Middle East.
