The record of the class of 1918 . tic Irish tongue, Irish made a firmgroup of friends with his big heart and sincerity. HENRY PAUL SCHENCK Herman Scarlet Board (1), Editor (I); Haverfordian Board (2. 3);Cast of Play (2); Cap and Bells Club (2); Football Squad(1,2); Wogglebug (2. 3). Herman was another with sufficient genius and ambi-tion to complete in three years what it takes an ordinaryman four years to accomplish. His distinct artistic talentfound expression in the short-lived Barclay Barker and theScarlet. Although a dramatic artist of no mean abilityand also a contributor to the Haverfordian, Henry was inhis truest element in the bug-lab, dissecting some unoffendingdumb animal. He was attracted to the Penn MedicalSchool as naturally as steel to a magnet. Although wehavent seen much of him this year, we expect to hear ofhim some day as the eminent Dr. H. P. Schenck. 26. 918 CLASS RECORD 1918
