Holly wreaths sold well and were all cleaned up. The red frieze wreaths sold well, more than twice the amount of last year. Various Notes. Samuel Murray had a fine Christmas business and sold more baskets of cut flowers and pot plants than in any previous year, especially orchid baskets, which went better than was antici- pated. Begonias sold well. The W. L. Eock Flower Co. had about one-third more pot plants than ever before and all were sold. The cut flowers were plentiful, but were cleaned up before noon. Arthur Newell reports an increase in the sale of pot plants, while cut flow- ers went about the same, or a little better than last year. He says the new, large delivery car is the one that gets orders
