A well meaning lady ushered a mother duck and her recently hatched ducklings down steps and along the Thames Footpath into the River Thames, but sadly the mother duck was promptly gang raped by at least 20 male ducks as they tried to drown and kill her. Thankfully local swan rescue charity, Swan Support were on hand to come and rescue the mother and her ducklings from the River Thames and take them to a new location.
