The large underground hall covers 3000 square meters and is divided by asymmetrically arranged columns. Polished concrete was used throughout the station area. and the station is partially lit by daylight entering through glazed openings in the ceiling. In addition to stairs, it also has an elevator to leave the island platform and is therefore barrier-free. The name of this station was changed in April 2006 from Reichstag to Bundestag to better reflect the physical location of the station and the function of nearby buildings.
