But it is always to be re- membered that the aster follows close on the heels of the outgoing peony and whether this will prove a wise move this year to be seen. THE ROSE SITUATION. There is very little that can be said about the rose situation that has not already been said. New American Beauty, Kaiserin and Killarney are of exceptionally good quality and should bring better prices, but the glut in the peony market has put its blighting hand on these flowers and restricted the demand tq a minimum.
