Shozan Resort Garden combines the beauty of a traditional Japanese garden with the sophistication of an adjacent luxury hotel and wedding venue. Set against the backdrop of a stunning landscape, it is an ideal spot for tourists looking to immerse themselves in the tranquility and charm of Japanese culture. The meticulously maintained gardens feature seasonal flowers and water streams, provide the perfect setting for leisurely strolls and peaceful contemplation. Two gardens have beautiful appearances that seem to blend into this blessed natural beauty. The northern garden is made with lavish use of cedars and stone, and is skillfully arranged with maple and plum groves. The southern garden begins along the promenade that continues from the slope on the west bank of the Kamiya River. The gardens are dotted with tea houses amid the beautiful nature of the four seasons. The North Garden is a beautiful moss garden that was created in the Showa era. The Japanese-style sukiya-style building in the center of the garden is Minegyokutei. The person involved in the creation of this beautiful garden was local gardener Nakahara Masaharu. The garden in front of the Japanese restaurant Senjukaku located at the south end of the stone-paved garden path. Senjukaku is the former home of Japanese painter Suzuki Shonen.
