The Black Petrel (Procellaria parkinsoni) ranges in the Pacific Ocean, and as far north as Central America. The Spectacled Petrel (Procellaria consicillata) is confined to the Atlantic Ocean, and the Westland Petrel (Procellaria westlandica) to the Pacific Ocean.
