The Hardanger Bridge (Hardangerbrua) over the Hardangerfjord, Norway

The Hardanger Bridge (Hardangerbrua in Norwegian) connects the municipality of Ulvik in the north with Ullensvang in the south, and replaced the long standing ferry service between Bruravik and Brimnes. It is the longest suspension bridge in Norway at 1380m, and the main span of 1310m is (as at 2015) the tenth longest in the world. It is also the longest tunnel to tunnel suspension bridge in the world. Construction on the approach roads started in 2007 and the bridge opened to traffic on 17 August 2013.
