The digestive action appears is a slight lowering of the temperature, the pulse becomes frequentand the respiration rapid and shallow. The nervous symptoms aresimply those of excitement and the appetite is fair. Cattle and horsesare the animals usually killed by eating these plants (Fig. 27). Sheep arerarely injured. Treatment.—The California Experiment Station recommends thefollowing medicine for subcutaneous injection by a hypodermic syri
