Further on small police posts will beestablished, about fifty miles apart, up to Fort Selkirk. TELEGRAPH LINE PROJECTED. If it is possible to construct a telegraph line from thehead of the Lynn Canal over the mountains to the firstpost just north of the British Columbia boundary, it wouldovercome the great present drawback of lack of means ofwinter communication with the Klondike.
