Harry (right), executive officer, TRFB, listen as Travis Brayton (left), training supervisor for shop 57A, also known as the insulator shop, discuss shop productivity. Shop 57A provides insulation and lagging on submarines. Each week, TRFB leadership personnel visits a different production area of the facility for a first-hand look, which is referred to as a “gemba.”
