150828-N-JY507-020 BREMERTON, Wash. (Aug. 28, 2015) – Navy Region Northwest chief petty officer (CPO) selects graduated a CPO Legacy Academy aboard the USS Turner Joy (DD 951) in Bremerton, Wash. The Academy entailed living aboard the Vietnam-era destroyer while participating in community relation projects, ship preservation, and leadership training, which finished with a ceremony on the pier in front of the Turner Joy Museum.
