Horseshoe Brand Bulbs never "happen" to be reliable—they are reliable by nature, with a uniformity of excellent quality, which costs money to produce and saves you money to buy. The hardy Japanese liliums, such as Auratum, Magnificum (the improved Rubrum) and Album, are a most excellent ad- junct to the progressive retail store, and in the proper season add. greatly to that variety of refinement in flowers so attractive to flower- lovers. In bulbs of this kind, the largest and highest priced bulbs always pay the best if properly grown, and there is nothing more hand- some than a fine large plant of Speciosum Lilies or Auratum, with many flowers. Mammoth bulbs must be ordered about a season in ad- vance.
