One of the main rooms at the Al-Ain Museum, UAE. Set in the same grounds as the Sultan bin Zayed Fort, the Al Ain Museum is actually a low modern structure and houses a vast collection of heritage and cultural exhibits some dating back to 2nd millennium BC. The fort is also well worth a visit just to imagine life here in earlier times and has a collection of important historic photographs. If planning a trip to Abu Dhabi or Dubai, UAE, Al-Ain is a relatively short drive and well worth a visit. and if possible, a longer stay in this delightful area.
