Haweswater, Cumbria UK. 19th July, 2018. A road through what was once the village of Mardale Green has been revealed due to the low water levels as a result of a 2-month drought. The village was evacuated to make way for Haweswater Reservoir that was filled in the 1930's to aid drinking water to be pumped to Manchester over 80-miles away. Pic taken 19/07/2018.
