Outside view of Ajmer Sharif Dargah the Mausoleum of Moinuddin Chishti, a sufi saint from India. Dargah sharif is the shrine of sufi saint Moiuddin Chisti where his grave is located in the city of Ajmer. He established the Chisti order of Sufism in India and was a revered saint among both Muslims and Hindus. He was born in the year 1141 in Iran and died in year 1236 in Ajmer, India. The shrines earliest patrons included Mughal rulers and were later followed by the nawabs of Indian princely states such as Hyderabad and Arcot. The shrine complex houses an auditorium, a communal kitchen and several other shrines of importance
