London, UK. 3rd December 2022. A mute swan swims in the Round Pond in Kensington Gardens, one of London's major parks, as the worst recorded bird flu outbreak continues to spread in the UK. Thousands of wild birds have died as a result of the virus across the country, and millions of domestic birds have been killed by the virus and culled in an attempt to curb the spread.
