Space Center in Mississippi. Students participating Class 18-2’s TWAR course represent the countries of Bulgaria, Suriname, Lebanon, and Trinidad and Tobago. TWAR is an eight-week course of instruction that provides personnel with the knowledge and skills required to safely make structural repairs and perform preventative maintenance to aluminum, steel, fiberglass and rubber components in accordance with applicable factory technical manuals and approved doctrine. Course topics include human rights, safety practices, Zodiac inflatable boat repair, fiberglass repair, and oxyacety¬lene cutting and welding, Shielded Metal Arc (electric) welding and Gas Metal Arc (Mig) welding. NAVSCIATTS is a Security Cooperation schoolhouse operating under Special Operations Command in support of Foreign Security Assistance and Geographic Commander’s Theater Security Cooperation priorities. The international training center trains and educates Partner Nation Special Operations Forces, SOF-like foreign security forces and SOF enablers. Partner Nation forces are trained across the tactical, operational, and strategic spectrums through in-residence and Mobile Training Team courses of instruction. ( Navy
