Fig. I shows the general arrangement at this terminal. Theplans were made by W^ S. Menden, chief engineer for theelevated company. The terminal yards and transfer station areon the surface. The elevated road and the surface line areconnected by an incline, having a grade of per cent. Thearrangement is such that if ever found desirable the cars of the.
