Whistleblowing platform Wikileaks held a press conference to mark their 10th anniversary on October 4, 2016 in Berlin. They announced an aggressive schedule of leak releases before the year's end, including leaks related to war, armaments, Google, US election, and mass surveillance. Julian Assange, the Wikileaks editor-in-chief, noted that they expect to be attacked in response to these leaks, stating that they "will need an army to defend us".
