A standard of the cavalry Golden-yellow flag cloth, both faces display an army eagle hand-embroidered in black and brown on cream-coloured silk, the beak and talons rendered in raised gold embroidery, surrounded by a silver-embroidered oak leaf wreath on an Iron Cross, four appliqué swastikas in the corners. Silver fringe on three sides. Open, sewn-on cloth sleeve. The silver fabric partially migrated. Signs of age, the flag cloth somewhat stained, otherwise in bright colours. Dimensions 60 x 75 cm.
