Trial of the French pro-Nazi author Robert Brasillach, Paris, 1945. A supporter of fascism since 1934, Brasillach edited an anti-semitic newspaper, Je suis partout, during the Nazi occupation of France. He also supported the German occupation of Vichy France and signed a 1944 document calling for the summary execution of all French Resistance members. Arrested after Paris fell to the Allies, he was convicted of cooaboration and executed by firing squad on 6 February 1945. The photographer is unknown.
