Largely uniform brown. Iris light brown. Soft dorsal and anal each with 3 longitudinal blackish-brown bands, rest of fins together with spinous fins dull brown; edges of soft dorsal and anal narrowly whitish. Caudal brown like body, hind edge very narrowly whitish. Paired fins brown, hind pectoral edge rather broadly pale brown. East Indies.
