In the other upper light is representedthe bringing of Nathaniel to Christ by St. Philip. In each?of the lower lights are angels bearing scrolls on which arerecorded the subjects of the upper lights. At the west end of the south aisle is a window erectedto the memory of Dr. and Mrs. Adamson, bearing thefollowing inscription :— To the glory of God, and in Affectionate Remembrance of JOHN ADAMSON, who died January 21st, 1870, aged 72 years : also of JANE, HIS WIFE, who died October 9th, 18S1, aged 81 years : Their Family dedicate tliis E. ( Behold the Lamb of God which taketh away the sins of theworld ) pointing to a lamb. In the lower lights is a very strikingand vivid representation of our Lord giving sight to theblind man. A noticeable feature of this window (byMessrs. Kempe), is the expression and clearness of thedifferent faces. In the north aisle is another stained glass window, TheManifestation of our Lord to the Gentiles, which wasunveiled on September 12th, 1897, and which bears thefollowing inscription: — To the honour and glory of Almighty God, and in lovingremembrance of Mary Tiltman, who died December 30th, Window is erected by he
