Protesters with posters against Guantanamo including one with the quote from President Obama "We tortured some folk" at the protest which police moved away from the embassy calling for the closure of Guantanamo, where kangaroo 'justice' persists with indefinite detention without trial for those who remain and force feeding, beatings and brutality continue. The protest also called for an end to the US's continuing wars in Afghanistan, Iraq, Libya and Syria and to US drone strikes and an end to other human rights abuses including the one-sided extradition treaty with Britain and the continued use of extraordinary rendition.
