Piazza della Republica is the beautiful Palazzo VII Aprile with its bell tower and double layer of galleries. This palazzo is now the town hall of Marsala. The palace was completed in the 15th century by the architect Giuseppe Moccia, who was inspired for the facades by the Venetian architect Andrea Palladio.
