An Indian gold-inlaid chilanum,17th century Curved blade with fine grooves on both sides and a reinforced point. The base of the blade is cut with arabesque shapes and bears inlays of gold in two-colours. Finely cut iron knuckle-bow hilt with decorative gold inlay en suite,and with fire gilding on the upper and lower sides. Inlay somewhat rubbed in places. Length cm.
