Game rangers in the Kruger National Park are working to protect the animals and environment against wildlife criminal syndicates in South Africa

Dr Lufuno Netshitavhadulu injects a sedated wilddog from which a snare was removed near Punda Maria in the Kruger National Park. The park is facing a major challenge of snare poaching. The snares are put up by poachers whose aim is to catch antelope for sale in the illicit game meat business. However all animals including wilddogs fall prey to the snaring.
