A male Magnificent Hummingbird - Eugenes fulgens, feeds on a tropical flower in Costa Rica. Flash was used to partially freeze the motion of the wings, but enough ambient light was present to show the wing blur and convey a sense of the rapid movement of the hummingbird's wings.
