The writer remains have been cremated and a private family ceremony, have been deposited in the Pantheon of Illustrious Valladolid del Carmen Cemetery, beside the remains of his wife Angeles, together again. In the Pantheon of Illustrious Valladolid, Miguel Delibes with writers rest José Zorrilla and Rosa Chacel and dancer Vicente Escudero. There are also the remains of Pio del Rio Hortega researcher, a student of Ramón y Cajal, Ricardo Macias thinker and poet Picavea realistic Emilio Ferrari, among others. Los restos mortales del escritor han sido incinerados y, en una ceremonia familiar privada, han sido depositados en el Panteón de Vallisoletanos Ilustres del cementerio del Carmen, junto a los restos de su esposa Angeles, unidos de nuevo. En el Panteón de Vallisoletanos Ilustres, Miguel Delibes descansará junto a los escritores José Zorrilla y Rosa Chacel y el bailarín Vicente Escudero. Allí se encuentran también los restos del investigador Pío del Río Hortega, discípulo de Ramón y Cajal; del pensador Ricardo Macías Picavea y del poeta realista Emilio Ferrari, entre otros.
