Testing for the German Armed Forces Badge for Military Proficiency was hosted and conducted by the 2-263rd Air Defense Artillery Battalion in Anderson, , April 23-24, 2016. The test was proctored by Army 1st Lt. Matthew Hannon and Army Sgt. Celeste Vickery of the 2-263rd ADA BN, South Carolina Army National Guard, and was overseen by German Army 1st Lt. Thomas Taupp and German Army Sgt. Maj. Sven Theede of the German Armed Forces Command. The participants who completed the test included fourteen Soldiers from across the South Carolina Army National Guard and the ROTC program
