Energy producing windmills beyond the walls of Chitradurga Fortress in India.

Energy producing windmills beyond the walls of Chitradurga Fortress in India. The fort, which has four concentric defensive walls, was stengthened by Haider Ali in AD 1779. It was for for many years the home of the Nayakas feudal cheftians, during the time of the Vijayanagar Empire. The fortress is closely linked to the legend of Onaka Obavva, a housewide who repelled an attack by bludgeoning a soldier with a pestle.
