Robinson, formerly with the United States Department of Agri- culture. His advice on this subject is of inestimable value to every student of this School. His book on the "Fundamentals of Poultry Breeding" is used in some of our courses and he is employed by this school as special advisor for our students on selection for egg production, mating and breed- ing problems. He has lectured on poultry subjects at institutes, poultry association meet- ings, agricultural colleges and schools and commercial meetings in sixteen States and Has been either breeding standard poultry himself or associated in an advisory way with other breeders almost continually since 1890. Living for nearly a quarter of a cen- tury in the section where interest in the breeding of standard poultry first developed and where it has been most intense, it has been his privilege to know well nearly all the men who have in the last fifty years been eminent in the breeding of standard poultry and to get the benefits of their experience at first-hand.
