A Chameleon forest dragon takes on a viper snake. DRAMATIC images of a Chameleon forest dragon defending itself against a venomous viper snake whilst precariously balanced on a branch have been captured. The series of pictures show the feisty exchange from the moment the reptiles lay eyes on each other with the brightly coloured snake stealthily making its way towards the lizard, in an attempt to eat it. Instead of becoming the snake’s next meal, the plucky lizard is then seen to pounce on its predator, capturing its body between its jaws. Another shot shows that the angry viper is not afraid

DRAMATIC images of a Chameleon forest dragon defending itself against a venomous viper snake whilst precariously balanced on a branch have been captured. The series of pictures show the feisty exchange from the moment the reptiles lay eyes on each other with the brightly coloured snake stealthily making its way towards the lizard, in an attempt to eat it. Instead of becoming the snake’s next meal, the plucky lizard is then seen to pounce on its predator, capturing its body between its jaws. Another shot shows that the angry viper is not afraid to bite back as it suddenly lashes out at the Chameleon forest dragon, resulting in both reptiles interlocking their mouths as the lizard throws the snake backwards onto the branch.
