The ABC Nursery fire occurred on June 5, 2009 in Hermosillo, Sonora, Mexico. In the fire, 49 children died and 106 were injured, all between five months and five years of age. It happened when a fire spread in an adjoining warehouse of the government of the State of Sonora, with Eduardo Bours Castelo being governor of the state and Felipe Calderón Hinojosa was the presidency.
