Linderhof Palace statue

Linderhof Palace statue. Linderhof Palace is a Schloss or castle in Germany, in southwest Bavaria near Ettal Abbey. It is the smallest of the three palaces built by King Ludwig II of Bavaria. The gardens surrounding Linderhof Palace are considered one of the most beautiful creations of historicist garden design. The rooms are adorned in exquisite and expensive decorations including a grotto where he would use a swan shaped boat. Some think he was crazy. He built three famous palaces or castles; Neuschwanstein, Linderhof and Herrenchiemsee. Don Despain of Rekindle Photography. 6481
