The iconic Flying Scotsman Steam Locomotive stopped at Slough Railway Station today in Berkshire to pick up lucky passengers en route from Paddington to Cardiff. New regulations are due to come into force next month that could put the future of steam trains into jeopardy. The new rules from the rail watchdog state that all main line trains should have a central locking system, however, legacy trains such as the Flying Scotsman have their doors opened and locked individually with a traditional bolt key.
