Spectrum model. Plastic model showing how all colours are made up of just red, green and blue, which are known as the primary colours. The primary colours can be mixed to form the secondary colours: yellow (red and green, centre), magenta (red and blue, bottom right) and cyan (blue and green, top right). Together, the primary and secondary colours form white. By mixing the primary colours in varying amounts, all possible colours can be made.
