Este is a town and comune of the Province of Padua, in the Veneto region of northern Italy. The walls of the Carrarese castle, it built around 1339 on the ashes of the Este castle. The walls form a polygon surrounded by towers at regular intervals. Today the interior of the castle is used as a garden.
