THE BASUTOLAND SQUADRON [] - The Basutoland Fighter Squadron of the Royal Air Force was one of the earliest Spitfire squadrons in action in the Battle of Britain. The squadron was reformed after the last war in February 1937 and has already five DFCs and two DFMs to its credit in this war. Squadron records show that its pilots have destroyed 83 enemy aircraft and 29 probables with 37 damaged. A line up of aircraft and pilots of the Basutoland Squadron.
