Of this manure Prof. Liebig speaks as follows: " I can say with confidence that X never had in hand a better sort of artificial manure, far superior in quality, also in its efficacy, to the best Peruvian ; Dr. Voelclvler says: " I am of the opinion that Phospho-Guano is a uniformly prepared, highly concen- trated and a more generally useful manure than Peruvian ; This article has been thoroughly tested in various localities in this country for several years past, and has given great satisfaction. It is particularly valuable for the Flower Border, and for city lots, and all other places where there is diflculty in obtaining stable manure.
