Rienzi always held his head high, and l)y the quickness ofhis movements created the impression that he was exceedinglyimpetuous, but Sheridan was always able to control him by afirm hand and a few words. He was as cool and quiet underfire as any veteran trooper in the Cavalry Cor])s.
