Bertus moved to Berlin from Holland and together with Derk Marseille found the website which focuses on the trade relations between The Netherlands and Germany. Claiming that former media outlets for which mister Bouwman worked were not open to new ideas he decided to set up his own website. The trade volume between The Netherlands and Germany is one of the world's highest between neighbouring countries and is worth over 157 billion Euros.
