Commander, Navy Recruiting Command, Rear Adm. Jeff Fowler made the announcement and presentation during the annual SOY banquet held in Memphis, Tenn. The 29-year-old from Melbourne, Fla., is assigned to Naval Reserve Recruiting Area West in Aurora, Colo., where she is the Chief Administrator for her unit. Rasmussen took top honors in a field of Navy Recruiting Command’s top nine sailors from across the nation.
