Mainz, Germany. 24th February 2020. Darth Vader from Star Wars rides on a float from the carnival guards Rote Husaren Mainz-Kostheim march in the Mainz Rose Monday parade. Around half a million people lined the streets of Mainz for the traditional Rose Monday Carnival Parade. The 9 km long parade with over 9,000 participants is one of the three large Rose Monday Parades in Germany.
