We want them fromour very best stock, of course, and ifwe get our best breeders in show con-dition for a December or Januaryshow and exhibit them for a week ormore it is a very difficult matter toget any eggs from them in these twomonths and it puts them out of therunning as valuable breeders fromwhich to raise high class early is nothing more conducive toinfertility than penning up a bird inan exhibition coop from two to sixweeks, housing in a warm tempera-ture and the pampering that goes withshow conditioning.
